Installed it a couple of hours ago, works beautifully for public projects, but I am having trouble getting it to show my private projects even though the login should be correct and my user has been added as a member to the projects.

Hey, Just tried myself downloading again and using private repos and had no problem, are you sure your redmine installation is new enough?

RE: Redmine for Android - Added by John B almost 14 years ago

Hey. I am still unable to view private projects via the application. Public projects show up fine. My role in the private projects is 'Manager'.

The redmine install is running trunk.

Have you enabled REST authentication?

Private repos have been working since the very beginning with no extra care from the app.

So sorry, you're absolutely right. It works, I had indeed forgotten to enable REST authentication.

I hope I didn't cause you to dive in to the code and look for a nonexisting bug :-)

RE: Redmine for Android - Added by Arkaitz Jimenez almost 14 years ago

Hey John, no worries, it was good actually for me to include in the description that the REST auth needs to be enabled.

This could be very helpful for me and the company I work for, however - since we're providing this application with our credentials would it be possible for you to release the source code for this application? We would need to audit the code if we wanted to use it within the company.

Hi Alex,
Unfortunately I am not allowed to release the source code yet as licensing is still undecided.
However from the security point of view it should be really easy to audit the comms and see that the app only opens connections to the configured redmine servers.

Great work! Tried this app on Motorola Droid running 2.2 and it worked great. Had to enable REST API in Redmine settings. I'm running Redmine 1.1.0 stable server. I was able to view list of issues and details of an issue, but wasn't able to find a way to edit an issue.

Just wonder - are you interested in working together on this application? I would love to add WIKI access to this app - I really miss it. :(

What about releasing it on github?
