Redmine- Maintain Variation between Planned and Actual Dates

At project start we can create the tasks and work distribution on Redmine. Gantt chart can be used as timeline.
While creating the task list we already have put the start and end date for all the tasks. Now lets say things dont go as planned and a particular task could not start on actual start date Or could not end on planned End Date, We modify the Start Date and End Date as Actual Start and End Dates. Now After the project completion there is no way I can compare the Planned Dates VS Actual Dates to find out what caused the delay? To Summarize how can we have a baseline for planned timeline and maintain the deviation from planned dates.

I could not find any feature for this, Is there any way I can handle above situation using exisiting Redmine capabilities.

You could add custom fields for the original baseline dates and then compare against those.

1. How can I add my custom fields as new columns in All Issue Page.
2. All issues page show Filter , How can I add additional condition where I can put from date, To Date

There's a global setting you can find in admin -> settings -> issues

I have added the custom fields as you said and want to add links to actual dates with log dates.
Could you please help me with the regular expression for the same? i have redmine 3.2.3 stable.
