Redmine mail from is not correct.

I have a redmine instance and projects & subprojects, members associated, mail are configured correctly and could pass "Send a test email", but the problem is that the from address is same as what is configured in the settings of "Email notificaitons" instead of the person who is initiating/posting message like New task created, closed, message post. Members are synced with AD servers, with this problem we are unable to track who is sending the mail and who are the designated people to receive the mail.

Can anyone point what was the mistake I was doing.

Yes, that's how it works... The From: is always the same, that's all. Your assumption that it changes is wrong.
