Adds an existing user to a group is not working.

Hi,
I have tried to add an existing user to group using a rest client. But it is not working. I am getting 500 - internal server error.
"Internal error
An error occurred on the page you were trying to access.
If you continue to experience problems please contact your Redmine administrator for assistance.
If you are the Redmine administrator, check your log files for details about the error."
Please not that I've tried following link to try this.

Could you please tell the reason for this issue?
