Added by mahesh m about 1 year ago

Hi,

I am currently running Redmine 3.1 in windows machine and trying to migrate the same environment to Linux machine. After installing Linux exe in Linux machine in the root environment, not able to run bundle install command that giving me this message..

"Don't run Bundler as root. Bundler can ask for sudo if it is needed, and installing your bundle as root will break this application for all non-root users on this machine."
Could not locate gemfile.

Can anyone please suggest or guide me to run commands in Linux.

Just run bundle install with a "non root" user. Nowadays it's very common that you can't login with root but have to switch to root after logging into the machine.
Did you something like that? What Linux distribution have you installed?

Kind regards,
Bernhard

Yeah. That's working fine now! Thanks for the help :)

Mails are getting deleted from the mail server when redmine reads mails to create an issue in the tool. Can that be avoided so that a copy of the mail will be in the Mail Server even after loading it to the redmine tool.

Suggestions and help appreciated.
