Event notification plugin error in Linux machine

Hi,
My current redmine Environment:
Redmine Version : 3.4.6.stable (Linux)
Ruby Version : 2.3.7-p456
Rails version : 4.2.8
Database adapter : Mysql2
"Internal error
An error occurred on the page you were trying to access.
If you continue to experience problems please contact your Redmine administrator for assistance.
If you are the Redmine administrator, check your log files for details about the error."
This error occurred when I clicked on an Issue in the tool. After knowing that a plugin(event_notifications) "https://www.redmine.org/plugins/event_notifications" is causing this error, I uninstalled and redmine is working fine but I need this plugin to be in the tool.
Let me know the changes needed to be done in the plugin.
