Adding an Issue Status: not working?

Under Administration >> Issue Statuses I added a couple issue statuses (I have a total of 7), but in all my projects, I can only choose from 6 options. Is there a limit somehow? Did I do something wrong?

You have to integrate the new statuses in the workflow first, see the FAQ.

Ok, I figured it out -- I had checked the workflow, but my status wasn't showing up in there. You have to edit the workflow AND uncheck the box that says " Only display statuses that are used by this tracker".

Tricky tricky.

I have the same problem and have done everything that I've seen suggested in various forums, like unchecking "only display statuses that are used by this tracker"
I've even re-ordered all my Issue Statuses but nothing makes a difference.
I have 8 statuses - is there perhaps a limitation to the number of statuses?

No, there's no limit for those. Please open a new thread and give full details of your system and environment.
