links to attached files broken

I updated redmine from 0.7 to 1.0.3 and found all the links to uploaded not working.
After some research I found it was related to Feature 1649 http://www.redmine.org/issues/1649
Is there a scrip or some recommendations how to change the links in the system from the old to the new URL style?
