problem with national "æøå" charaters then recieving issues via imap mail

Hi
I have an problem with danish national charaters "æøå" then redmine recieves an issue from a mail containing these letters.
Then it reach the "æøå", it just ignore the rest of the mail.
How to fix this issue ?
