How to enable file attachment in mail notifications

Hi Guys,

Redmine is a good tool for using, but I found small problem for me.

When I'm attaching file to Issue I would Redmine to send it in mail notification. So, mail notification contain information that file has been uploaded (added) but I don't see this in email.

Can you help with this and push my nose to need settings value?

I'm not a ruby developer but this will be good if you can tell me the sources part where redmine is sending issues updates.

I think there is no possible without redmine patching or special plugin.

It's an old thread, but comes up when Googling, so seems worth updating.

This is possible with 2.2.3 (and possibly earlier versions), however inline images are not displayed in client software unless that software has an active Redmine session open - otherwise the image links return login pages.
