Newly added tracker not visible in Tracker dropdown list

I defined a new Tracker category (Administration | Trackers | New Tracker.

It is visible in the Tracker list, but not in the Tracker dropdown list when adding a task.

Can anyone suggest what I might be doing wrong?

Hello,

you have to add this tracker to project (Project settings -> tracker ...)

I can't find where to do that.

From the project, I click on Administration | Settings. Is that the right place?

I checked each tab (General, Authentication, Projects, Issue tracking, Email notifications, Incoming emails, Repository). I couldn't see any place to add the new tracker to the project.

We are runnng 0.8.4.

Nope, it's on the project settings page.

I found it. In our installation, the page displayed in your link is called just "Settings" not "Project Settings".

It would have been helpful to have had the exact procedure to get to that page. On our installation, the procedure is:

  • Click on Projects
  • Click on a project
  • Click on Settings
  • Click on the desired Trackers in the Trackers section (second section)
  • Repeat for each project
