Can not upload files from remote location

Hi,

I have some users of our Redmine who are unable to upload files when they access the system from remote locations. They simply get an error message when they try. Staff who are on the same site as our server have no issues, but staff outside do.

We are running Redmine 2.3.3, using CentOS 6.3
I've checked the logs after these failed uploads occur and there is no relevant information logging
I can't find any similar issue on these pages. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar issue yesterday (same Redmine version). I was using the REST service to upload a file on a server at work and got a JSON parser exception (something about not starting with a '{'). I then tried to upload a file using the web site. When I added a file, an hourglass appeared next to the filename and never went away. If I tried to save at that point, I got an error page describing an internal server exception with nothing in the logs. I contacted someone in the office to see if he could upload a file and he had no problems. I suspect there is something in the Redmine parsing that isn't handling URLs correctly in certain cases.
