Redmine

Is this possible?

Right now, we have a problem in our enterprise with users of Redmine adding items to a version that shouldn't be added. We ended up locking those versions, but in order to add issues ourselves as the management team to a release we have to unlock the version then add those issues and re-lock the version.

I've scoured the permissions but I don't see a way to handle this better. Is there a better feature for handling this scenario? Is there a permission to allow an admin user to "override" this lock?

Any help would be appreciated, if this is possible.
