Redmine email spam

I have Redmine set up to take in all email from an account on exchange, create a ticket and email the person back that a ticket has been created. A few services that have emailed the account do not have the ability to receive email, so Redmine gets the bounceback and goes into a spiral of trying to email the update for user and just continues over and over again. Just had 200+ emails over the weekend because of it.

I was wondering if there was a way to set a threshold on replies sent within a certain time frame or to a user to stop this if anyone knows.
