Email Notifications: How to display all watchers and other receivers in email notifications?

Added by Bastian Steinacher about 7 years ago

Dear All,

it's hopefully not a too stupid question but I couldn't find a solution yet:

Is it possible to add all watchers & receivers in the email notification?
This would be very usefull to know who else is receiving the email notification.

Thank you in advance,
Bastian.

Did you find a solution to this? I'm looking for same - you can check the setting to NOT bcc people, then you will see everyone in the emission email addresses. But the problem is, if the user then does reply all, you get the original email plus all those other emails sent out, which you don't want. I think you just want the watchers listed like the other fields in the notification, right? looking for a plugin, will update if found...

Correct - having displayed all watchers in the email notification is what i'm still looking for.
The "not-bcc" solution is maybe worth a try if there is no plug-in which just puts the watchers
into the email text.
I'd appreciate your update if found :-)!

Yup - I'll let you know.

I have the ability to update watchers from email replies now, which is good. Also the ability to add authors/assignees/updaters to the watchers list, so that you can auto-add anyone who's ever been on the ticket. SO the ability to include a Watchers field in the updates so that the users can see who was notified and then add extra cc's if they want to add people, that would be the last piece of the puzzle.
