ADA Accessibility Support (Section 508/WCAG 2.0)?

We are looking to leverage Redmine to support some of our clients (including government organizations and public universities). In order to meet all compliance regulations in the US, it is critical that any site we make available complies to either the Section 508 standards and/or WCAG 2.0. I haven't been able to find any official information on the Redmine website, but we are looking for confirmation that Redmine will comply to these standards, or at the very least that we can configure it to comply if needed.
If anyone has experience with this, I would love to hear your feedback. Even better would be an official response from the developers on the support options here.
