How to NOT MARK AS READ any eMail in the Preview Window?

I DO NOT want to (automatically) mark any email as read if I only look at it in the preview window! All the mails looked at in the preview window have to be kept as "unread" - until I expressively open them or answer to them. As long as I only view them in the preview window they have to be marked as unread.
Where is the setting to do that?
Btw: latest version of Sylpheed 3.7.0 (builld 1185)
