Added by aus ghostdog about 5 years ago

Hi all,

Having an issue an I am not sure where to start, performing an upgrade and the CSS is missing or having issues on my test clone. Everything for the upgrade seems to have gone fine, the CSS is just not working , I have attached two files show what it looks like in live and in the new test upgrade.

sudo setfacl --restore=permissions.acl
gem update --system
bundle install --without development test
bundle exec rake generate_secret_token
bundle exec rake db:migrate RAILS_ENV=production
bundle exec rake redmine:plugins:migrate RAILS_ENV=production
sudo service apache2 restart

As another example, I attached a snippit of code from the sign in page showing code missing for a table.

The other items I have noticed is that the authenticity_token has change, I am gessing generate secret toke has something to do with that?

Another point is that there is a string of random numbers on the end of the code on the upgrade test server

Upgrade css image shows the custom theam is there with the corect permissions.

Any help would be great.

I had such issues not long ago with a Nextcloud upgrade.
After resetting the page cache in the browser by hitting ctrl+f5 it was gone.

Sadly no luck tried different browsers as well

Oh by the way,

I didn't realize you have a custom theme installed. Perhaps it's not compatible with the new Redmine version. Just switch to the default theme and check if the views aren't broken there.

Default theam seems to be working fine, so I tested the other theams. Alternate works fine but classic has the same issues as my custom one.

Solved it, I have been copying over the old public folder on top of the new one, effectivly clobbering the install.
