NoMethodError (undefined method `group_by' for nil:NilClass): in 2 plugins

I get this error message in 2 plugins. Weekly Timesheet and Work Time.
using version 1.3.3 with mysql
I had already sent another message on the Weekly Timesheet and creator told me that there was a version compatible with 1.3.3. but before migrating the database plugin that worked, any suggestions?
