Opening Project's Settings yields "Internal Error" after Redmine Backlogs Plugin Install

Hi -
We're fairly new to Redmine and have an install of 1.4.1 running on a RHEL 6.3 box. Ruby version is 1.9.3p194, and the Redmine backlogs plugin is 0.9.28. Everything seems fine with it, except that attempting to open the Settings of a Project yields an "Internal Error" page. Settings worked fine before installing the backlogs plugin. Just to be sure about it, I tried the setup on another machine, and the same thing happened - settings worked before installing the backlogs plugin, but not after.
The message I get in the logs is:

I'm not a ruby guy, so I'm a little lost here. Does anyone have any insight on how I can better troubleshoot / trace the issue?
