how to configure Redmine Slack in redmine 3.0

Good afternoon guys,
I've configured one more plugin called Redmine slack in the centos machine of redmine 3.0 version, i've successfully installed the plugin but when trying to configure it, i'm going helpless as i've trying it from many days. i've set the incoming webhooks in the slack environment and added into the plugin but it shows nothing, i'm confused for how to check the plugin installed correctly or how to check the plugin once it is configured.
Please help me with the clear steps how to configure the redmine slack plugin,
i've the incoming webhook url, i've created a custom field....
please help me with what i'm left out or if any mistake i've encountered
