Custom Field of "List" format , "Multi values" throwing error in "Project"

Description

Added a custom field to "Project.
Format=List
Multiple values =Yes
Display =drop-down list
Required =No
Visible =Yes

After adding this, when I try to create project, it is throwing following error :-

TypeError (can't convert Array into String):

If I disable "Multiple values" [ that means, un checking this multiple values field], it works fine.

Redmine version is : Redmine 2.5.1.stable

Redmine 2.5 is no longer maintained but I've just tested it with 2.5.3 and it works fine. 2.6 and higher are not affected as well.
You should try to upgrade.
