Description
It looks to me that the option "I don't want to be notified of changes that I make myself" is set by default, and there is no way to revert this.
This is specially an issue with users that get automatically created by the rdm-mailhandler.rb-script.
Please add an option either to settings->authentication->Default values for new users, or a parameter in the rdm-mailhandler.rb-script.

I think this would be a nice feature, especially for the purpose stated by the OP: users that get automatically created by the rdm-mailhandler.rb-script
