Description

Hi there!

Today I have set up my system to receive e-mails via imap. During the setup I tried to restrict the users who are allowed to send mails to the system, but can't find any relevant parameters at http://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/RedmineReceivingEmails

I would like to propose to implement further possibilities for restrictions, which I think are generally very useful in practice.

  1. If the option is set in Redmine, that users who have registered need to be unlocked, the option should also apply to users who submit emails. Currently users will receive directly the mail with login data, when the option "create" is set.
  2. There should be the possibility to define a whitelist. Domains on this list will automatically unlock senders as new accounts. Domains that are not on the list should either be rejected or have to be activated first.

An extended variant of the whitelist could be, that you somehow associate them with groups. Means: If e.g. @domain.com is assigned to groups A and B, but not to C, users from @domain.com created will be automatically assigned to groups A and B.
