Redmine Redmine - Defect #7705 (Closed): "Jump to project" combo box box spills out of screenhttps://www.redmine.org/issues/77052011-02-24T09:49:05ZBenjamin Baroukh

The "Jump to project" combo box currently unfolds toward the top of the page. I guess this was to keep the rest of the UI visible. However, when you have many projects, it "spills" above the edge of the screen and no scroll-bar appears.

I guess there is two options:

Either the combo box should unfold to the bottom

Either a scroll-bar should appear.

Should be a quick fix anyway. Using Firefox 3.6.13.
Redmine - Feature #2981 (Closed): Prevent from leaving the page when in edit mode for issue, wiki...https://www.redmine.org/issues/29812009-03-16T12:19:10ZBenjamin Baroukh

I think Redmine should ask the user if he really wants to navigate away from the current page,
a bit like GMail does when you are editing something.

It is really easy to loose the focus on the textarea and to hit backspace and it is really painful to end up on the previous page after spending one hour editing something.

The javascript should be:

onUnload('alert("Do you really want to navigate away from this page, all your changes will be lost")')

on the
element of the page when in edit.

Another step further could be continuous saving of the current work, but I guess it is going to be a lot of work because all the drafts should be persisted and displayed somewhere.
Redmine - Defect #2980 (Closed): Upper-case / lower-case discrepancy in attachment image syntaxhttps://www.redmine.org/issues/29802009-03-16T11:34:03ZBenjamin Baroukh

Affects all wiki-ish pages (issues included).
When you attach a file "myimage.GIF" with an upper-case extension and inline it using

!myimage.GIF!

the image does not appear although the code is not displayed.

Example:
Should be a red square here

In the source of this description, red_square.GIF is inlined but does not appear.
But when you inline it using lower-case although the attachment name extension is in upper-case
Redmine - Defect #1211 (Closed): Column width in "my page"https://www.redmine.org/issues/12112008-05-08T10:18:09ZBenjamin Baroukh

The number of the issues are truncated in the "my page" page when there is more than one figure in the number.
Redmine - Feature #1206 (Closed): Tag / directory functionality for "files" and "documents"https://www.redmine.org/issues/12062008-05-07T19:06:19ZBenjamin Baroukh

When not working in programming project, the version functionality is less important and it would be very handy to have a tag or directory functionality to manage the files in the file tab and the documents. Right now we are using the repository but it is less handy because you cannot commit files and not all of my colleagues are familiar with subversion.
Redmine - Feature #1205 (Closed): Display file description in File listinghttps://www.redmine.org/issues/12052008-05-07T19:04:02ZBenjamin Baroukh

In the file tab, when you add a file, you are asked for a description. I am using that tab to store a lot of files like spreadsheet, images or word document before they are published in PDF. It would be cool to be able to see that description in the file listing.
