Exporting Data

Hi Community,

I have just started supporting Redmine for my company but the previous person who supported it has it hosted on their own personal server and won't provide us with the Database or access to the server.

If there any to export the Issues on Redmine through the front end so that we can export the data before he shuts it down?

Not really. You can grab a CSV of the issues including descriptions, but that doesn't get you anywhere as you'll lack the files and history).
For reference, there's #3647, but it hasn't been implemented.

That said, the action of making important business data unavailable to their rightful owner is most probably illegal in jurisdictions all over the world.
Your company should hire a lawyer and sue (and not forget [punitive] damages if you business' operations are impaired)...
