Can't get email notifications to work

Hello all. I've been searching for an answer and can't seem to find one that works. I'm running the bitnami redmine stack redmine version 3.
When I test my email using the test button I get an COnnection refused (2) message. I have modified the /opt/bitnami/apps/redmine/htdocs/config/configuration.yml file to connect to my smtp relay server (windows 2008 relay server). Here is the configuration

smtp_settings:
address: "192.168.150.5"
port: 25
domain "opi.local"
When I perform a test I don't see any traffic hitting my relay server. I've googled for over a day now trying things I've found there, but no look. It almost feels like I'm not modifing the right file but this is the only configuration.yml file on the system.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Found my own issue. I had left the samples in the config file and apparently they weren't all commented out. Commented out every line I didn't want running and it worked. Hope that helps some one.
