What is expected behavior for Copy an existing project?

What to expect when copy an existing project?
What it should copy automatically? Documents, news, wiki, existing issues?
For me it's copying issues for the last year only and just for one tracker (Design Task).
My understanding that I can use Copy project feature as template to create new project, so it's not copying Documents and News, but it doing Wiki.
Could anyone describe how this feature supposed to work.
