after database restoration, what if I rake as root?

In my installs I usually just have a root account since I use turnkey linux redmine packages that come with redmine preinstalled and ready to go. All I need to do is restore mysql, restore files dir, and rake. However I get warnings about raking as root (not as sudo; I am logged in as root as it is the only account). Installations seems to work OK. Is there some hidden problem I'm missing?
