Redmine

I'm trying to setup redmine on two separate domains (subdomains) but both are on the same server.

I have been working with my server company for the past few days trying to get this to work, but we can't seem to figure it out, so if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

My server company has installed Redmine 1.1.3.stable.7705 on two separate domains on my server and they both seem to be working. The issue is both systems seem to be connected in some way.

If I change any of the settings, add a project, or an issue - then it shows up on both installations. We checked the database.yml file and everything looks like it's pointing to different databases on each domain.

I read that you should also assign a different port, the server company said they tried this.. But does anyone else have any info on how to do this? Also, does the redmine services need to be restarted for this to take effect?
