Problem with thumbnails

I have just recently upgraded a 1.x version of Redmine to 2.4.x.
Everything is working perfect except thumbs aren't being generated for files I attach to issues.
Things I have tried:
- Confirmed that tmp/thumbnails and /files are writeable.
- Installed ImageMagick. I can execute the convert command for the user.
- Installed rmagick gem.
- Added convert_image_imagemagick: to configuration.yml after using 'where convert' to find the correct path. It is located at /usr/bin/convert.
- Checked production.log and there are no errors.
Any ideas?
