Hello Redmine

I managed to install Redmine serviced by Tomcat under Win7,
now i want to go try to integrate [[www.purecm.com]] version control system to Redmine
therefore make it possible for project to connect to an existing purecm repository

First i think i can go try recreate and modify an Project Repository entry like svn or simular one,
as an first attempt to connect to PureCM

Second i think write a Plugin is a clean way to add PureCM interaction to Redmine

PureCM has a DLL with API call(s) and it has it's commandline app interface,
Is it possible to call a DLL file from Ruby? or is it easier to call a commandline app

If anyone can give me pointers where to start to make this possible this would be very nice and helpfull
