"Internal server error" from apache when accessing redmine/trackers 3.3.1.stable

Hopefully someone can help out with this one. Whenever I access redmine/trackers I'm getting internal server error from apache2. The apache2 access log shows that the request is processed. There is nothing in the apache2 error log, neither in the redmine log. Both apache2 and redmine logs are alive and logging other events.
