Spent Time

in my project at work i use redmine. and on the 'My Page' page it shows my Spent Time.
And everyday it shows 32 hrs. and at the end of the day when i log my bugs and the log time(8 hrs) the spent time changes to 40 hrs. but the next day when i log back in, the spent time again shows 32hrs. so i was wondering if this is supposed to be like that or something is wrong with my redmine account... plz help
