Redmine

Hello,

I am fairly new to Redmine and I am trying to set up the DSMF plugin for Redmine and I am not having any success in a proper configuration. I have followed the Redmine Ubuntu installation where the redmine directory is /usr/share/redmine/ and a symlink was set up in the /var/www/ location to point to that directory. My issue is that I am getting a File storage directory doesn't exist and can't be created message when trying to set the File Directory for DSMF. I thought this was a permissions issue and set 777 recursive for everything under the /usr/share/redmine/files directory (Created the files subdirectory because it was not there) but I am still getting the same error. Am I in the wrong place? Where do I need to set the directory for DSMF to work properly?

Any help you can offer would be appreciated and I can provide any other information to help clarify the scenario.
