New revisions not appearing in activity page

Hello,
we are using Redmine 1.8.5 and noticed that new revisions from the repository (we use CVS) are not displayed on the activity page.
But when we go to the repository page before (the new revisions are displayed there) and go to the activity page afterwards, they then suddenly appear on the activity page. But as mentioned only if we go to the repository page before.
Is this a bug or must there be something configured that revisions are displayed on the activity page immediately?
