Redmine

Hello everyone,

I made the switch to Redmine a few days ago, and am running the 0.8.5 release. I was hoping to place the files from the different releases of my project in the files section, but would like to shorten the url somewhat. My current download links are as following:

http://dev.myproject.org/redmine/attachments/download/6/myfile-myversion.tar.gz

Is there a way to create a shorter download link? for instance cut the id (6 in this case) and the attachments part out? Also I would like to show the file's description in the file list view, instead of just have it appear when a mouse hovers over it. Are these two things possible?
