Associate HelpDesk contacts to Issue via RestApi or other method

Hello, I have HelpDesk plugin installed on my Redmine (
and I want to associate the created contact, (Previously created using the REST API) to the issue that I'm creating from a java web application.
I would like to know if this is possible via RedmineManager (Java class for Redmine Integration) or from somewhere in the plugin by sending a JSON request using the redmine API KEY or similar. Thank you very much in advance.
