Redmine

Hi Everyone,

I have been using this redmine since 3 years and I'm a very happy user to use the features of it. Being a developer its very hard when I'm not able contribute some thing which I can do it. So started to learn the basic development init.

Before I start my development I came up with use case scenario so that I can understand and learn much faster than the regular way.

I'm not sure whether this is possible or not but this what I'm thinking about:

1) In the current process, user neeeds to go in to the specific project and select specific Issue if he is updating.
I feel this is a long process for the user just to update an issue.

2) To over come this, We have a page with set of drop downs and lets user to update the log time or the issue.

For instance: We have two drop downs in first 2 cols, spent time in 3rd col, progress in 4th col, desc in 5th col and some attachment holder in 6th col.

And ability to add these kind of rows in the view.

So that If I'm working on mutliple projects I need to navigate into each project and issue to update my log time or to update the progess.

Any response/suggestions will be appreciated.
