How to use already existing svn?

Hi,

we have already existing svn /var/www/svn and inside we have 3 different repostiries with different projects.

How can i use redmine with this existing svn?

I am still testing it and i'm trying to understand how is better to use redmine with svn.
Anyway we want to use our existing svn.

I will be glad if someone give me some directions.

Let's say that we have 3 repositories:

repo1, repo2, repo3,

inside repo1 we have 3 projects:
project1repo1
project2repo1
project3repo1
inside repo2 we have 3 projects:
project1repo2
project2repo2
project3repo2

....

So does redmine read svn and then create projects and if yes, how to do it?

What is the best way to go?

No, you can't.

Moreover I suppose you would like to define <sub>projects in Redmine for each of your projects. As far as I know - I've been evaluating Redmine for a few days -, you can't. For each <sub>project in Redmine you can only define a repository.

Oh, I forget. You can obviously use an existing repository. It can be located on another server. Add a <sub>project, and in its admin section, in the repository tab, select Subversion for the SCM, and give the url of your repository (file:///var/www/svn/repo1 for a repos in the same server as Redmine).

Thanks a lot for your reply and information. It looks that i will go this way. Anyway i an m still testing it to get working some things correctly.

I have enabled repository browsing, but i don't see any files in Repository tab.
