Upgrade from 0.8.4 to 0.9.x can't restore DB

I have a redmine server with 0.8.4 version. Since I never upgraded it (always fresh instalations) i tried to install the new version in a difrent path with a diferent DB.
I can't get the information from 0.8.4 DB to match 0.9.x DB.

Is there a script to do this or I'll not be able to upgrade at all.

Any clue, link with some "light" will be really apreciated.
