I'm new to Redmine but I'm evaluating a number of project management / bugtracking / work logging tools and have a question about Redmine.

Say you want to use Redmine for work logging (for internal users) and also as a bugtracker (for external users). Is it possible to define user roles in such a way that within a single project, internal users can view and edit bug reports as well as work logs, while external users can only create new bug reports (and not view logs for example)?
