Inherited redmine and tortoiseSVN servers..... in a bit of a pickle.

HI everyone,

Just started at a compnay that is using Redmine and Tortoise SVN to run thie project management side of things as well as other various aspects.

We are currently running the following:

svn version 1.6.5
redmine version 0.8.7
both running on Ubuntu 9.04

now i've never really used either of them except ubuntu. The problem is that with the current version of redmine, they want to upgrade to 0.9.2 however everytime i get close the database fails to load. What the company has done is they have used a lot of the beta modules and liked them but they don't really seem to want to work when upgraded. I'm also having a bit of trouble updating svn to 1.6.12 but that's another story.

As i said i've just inherited this network so any advice would be great

Please post the output of ruby script/about RAILS_ENV=production run in your REDMINE_DIR so that we can see what you have installed, especially interesting would be the list of plugins you are using. Please also post a trace of the error you are hitting, but I'd wager it's caused by one of the plugins, so I'll say this gently ;-) : be prepared to ditch some of them to upgrade.
