/users/current.json access

Hi guys,

I'm maintaining Chrome extension called Redmine Issues Checker, I just did a small update and wanted to test if everything works on demo.redmine.com before publishing changes . However, it looks like I can't access http://demo.redmine.org/users/current.json (and my extension uses that). Even if I'm logged in and even if I give my credentials when HTTP access dialog appears. Is it a feature? Is it a bug? Is it a restriction on demo.redmine.org?

Any help will be appreciated.

The API authentication is disabled on demo.redmine.org.
