Redmine

I am an end user and I have asked the Redmine developers at my company if there is a way to hide (not display) the log of edits to the Description field - see sample below. The developers could not answer my question.

My fellow users find it very distracting to read the Description field this way. We would just like to see the last version of the text in the Description field.
