Associated revisions

Added by Anonymous almost 11 years ago

When we do subversion comments, we just enter issue numbers preceeded by a #, e.g.

#777 fixed something

These aren't being picked up as referencing an issue. In the administration settings, we have the default references keywords of

refs,references,IssueID

Shouldn't IssueID be picking these up and displaying the associated revisions alongside the issue history? Or is there something else we need to enable? We have the repository set up correctly for the project (it was imported from trac, don't know if that makes a difference or not).

OK, after looking in the guide, it appears we need to enter * for the references settings. I've done this but it still doesn't work. In the revision log, the ticket number is displayed as a link so clicking on it takes you to the ticket, but the ticket doesn't have the 'associated revisions' section.

I'm currently deleting the repository from the project and going to re-add it to see if this info is built when the repository history is imported.

I've re-imported the repository history (by removing and then re-adding the repository to the project) but this hasn't fixed the issue. How do we get associated revisions in tickets without keywords? We're using 0.7.1 from an imported trac database.

Thanks

did you try on defining '#' as a keyword ?

RE: Associated revisions - Added by Anonymous almost 11 years ago

Hi Gabriel, I've changed the reference keywords to just contain # then I removed and re-added the repository for the project but that hasn't helped either.

It seems to work for the redmine.org repository because if you look at http://www.redmine.org/repositories/revision/redmine?rev=1415 then it lists 2 related revisions. Does anyone have administration access to see what the reference keywords are for this site?

Thanks

Is there any solution?

See #1253. This was fixed a while back for 0.7.2
