Redmine 2.5 - Having problems assigning permissions to roles

Currently I have around 30 users (Devs, QA, SI & Managers). I have already checked the permissions for the roles, and I am 100% sure that the checkboxes for time logging are allowed. However, the "log time" link does not appear on the issues for non-admin users. How is this fixed or what am I doing wrong?
