Using Redmine for the management of development resources

I'm curious if anyone has successfully configured Redmine for the management of development resources.

The idea is to have on a Gantt chart showing the projects that an individual developer is assigned to. The goal is to have a clear way of seeing what a given developers bandwidth is.

And if a developer is working more than one project for a given time period, the developers name would appears twice in the left column.

I'm checking here before we set about developing something.
