Error in email configuration

We are not getting any email notification after the smtp setup. When trying to send test email notification it gives error "*An error occurred while sending mail (An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.)*".
We have installed redmine in windows 2003 server OS . Please help us out ASAP.
