problem with old pages

hello, people. I think I dont understand something very obvious, but still my redmine doesn't work as i want him to.
So i'm running debian lenny and trying to install redmine accordingly to this insruction

Everything seems to be ok. http://myhost/ - shows me the redmine homepage.
but when i try to visit pages that were present on my debian before installation of redmine, (for example http://myhost/phpmyadmin)
i get an "404 error" redmine page
why can't i access old pages? Please, help
